When a Rotarian loses their life with COVID, reality sets in that he was part of our extended Rotary Family.

One of our eClub members Joanne, has a personal connection with a Rotarian in this small region of Nepal and she has raised a plea with our Club Members and our extended Rotary Family to provide some financial assistance. The money will immediately be used to purchase PPE and if possible supply of oxygen for the small hospital in the area. ‘Rotary is on the ground working to help people’.

The eClub has established a fund to help this small region in an isolated rural region of Nepal.

PDG Harish Bhatt from District 9211, East Africa – (previously 9200 – Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia
and Eritrea) will be our Guest speaker on Wednesday 31st March at 7:00pm (Adelaide time).

Harish, a member RC Bahari Dar es Salaam, has served over 22 years in various club and district positions including District Trainer for several years becoming
a District Governor in 2014-15, the District Rotary Foundation Chair (2016-19), District International Services Chair (2019-20) and District Representative on Rotary’s Council on Legislation (2020-23). He is a Major Donor level 2, a member of the Paul Harris and Bequest Societies.
