Ukraine invasion
There are 52 Rotary clubs in the Ukraine including a few in the annexed Russian-speaking Crimea and
Donbass regions of Eastern Ukraine. The General Secretary of Rotary International John Hewko, is a
member of the RC Kyiv.
There are a number of clubs in the cities currently being bombarded by Russian bombs and missiles
Kharkov, Kiev, Lviv and Sumy. As recent as last year Rotary clubs in Kiev unveiled a Rotary Peace Square
in central Kiev.
