At the end of the Conference, it was great to be able to relax with some fellowship over a BBQ and we
thank the RC of Barossa Valley for organizing that for us. We also thank the Kiwanis club for supplying our
lunches and morning teas.
Jenny and I would like to sincerely thank our Conference Chair
Susan Harris and the Conference committee for all of their
hard work and dedication. We would also like to acknowledge
President Stephany and the Rotary club of Campbelltown for
supporting Susan and our Conference Committee to ensure
the conference ran smoothly. Jenny and I were very proud as
we stood on the stage on Sunday with a sea of green shirts and
hats – this was our hard-working Conference Committee
members, club members and partners - what a team.
We would also like to thank Penni Hamilton-Smith for her professional management of the back stage area
and Robin LeGallez for his IT and video production. They take their jobs very seriously and deliver highly
professional results. It was great to see Rotarians at the Conference enjoying great fellowship and having
fun. I am sure that there were many opportunities to reconnect with friends and also to meet lots of new
ones. Jenny and I continue to be inspired by the Rotarians in this District and their clubs. We feel privileged
to have been able to present a Conference that allowed this amazing District 9510 to come together, to
celebrate Rotary, to gather new ideas, to learn more about Rotary and the world, but most importantly
to have fun.
Yours in Rotary
