Conference Report 2022

Tanunda, such a wonderful place in the heart of South Australia’s Early Horticultural History to its present
day wine growing ambiance, to host the District 9510
Rotary District Conference April 1 to 3, 2022
DG Jeff Neale and his wife Jenny, together with a
fabulous Conference Team, supported by many
members and Partners RC Campbelltown, and the
RC Barossa Valley have successfully concluded a
wonderful, COVID SAFE event this year. The support
of the numerous sponsors has been acknowledged
throughout the Conference and is gratefully
appreciated. Principal Partners were Paradise Mazda
and MGA Insurance Group. RIPPR, Dennis Shore
(Lynda), set the scene for the Conference with his introductory comments and summary on Sunday,
to focus on Retention of members and Resilience.

405 delegates registered for Conference and were treated to much diversity in Guest Speakers, who each
provided amazing insights into their respective careers, their personal journeys which demonstrated the
depth of human spirit to overcome adversity, and left us spellbound by their informative presentations.
I use five (5) words to summarise each one-energising, informative, inclusive and inspirational, with
resilience being a life long journey.

The Soap Box presentations added further valuable insight into some
Clubs specific projects to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion in
         community and global projects.

The leisure activities had been carefully planned to provide a pleasant
and relaxing interlude from the amazing presentations and did not
         disappoint.

                                                                                    All participants in the Friday

going to Table 5. Awesome evening of fun and entertainment
and wonderful fellowship, with plenty of Club rivalry!!!

All proceeds from this event went to All Kids which has been
supported by DG partner Jenny Neale and District Clubs
                                                                                    throughout the year.

The Gala Dinner was truly spectacular, transforming the
Pavilion into an elaborate setting for a delightful evening,
a delicious meal which catered for all dietary requirements
and entertainment which was out of this world! All reports
conclude with Masks on Eyes and noses, no one got lost on
the way back to their accommodation.
