What Are District Grants?

➢District Grants are funded by the Rotary Foundation through District Designated Funds

(DDF) which is the share of the District Annual Fund contribution which is returned to the

District 3 years after is was contributed to The Rotary Foundation.

➢The value of the grant is generally smaller, it is expended in a single year, the application

process is much simpler and requirements to receive the funds are straightforward.

➢Minimum Grant is A$1000. The Grants are matched 1:1 by the Club and funding is by

reimbursement when the project is complete and the grant acquittal report has been

received by the District Committee.

➢The portion of DDF to be allocated to District Grants is determined each year by the

District Rotary Foundation and the District Governor. It is a maximum of 50%
