Walkerville Art Show turns into a Lift the Lid event
As the grand finale to this year’s Art Show, the RC Walkerville decided to combine the distribution of
sold and unsold art as well as packing up everything else with an Australian Rotary Health Lift the Lid Hat
Night. Nothing like a pizza and a glass of red to make a very successful Rotary meeting and event. By all
reports it was another very successful Rotary Art Show.

Waikerie student project on Rotary
Congratulations to Year 6 Waikerie Lutheran Primary School student Sarah, who along with her fellow
class mates held their “class exhibition” on 28 September.
Sarah chose Rotary International for her project which
she researched by attending meetings, helping out
cooking donuts at the Riverfront Markets and working
in the Opportunity shop as well as interviewing
Rotarians about what Rotary means.
Sarah also helped raise over $65 at her exhibition by
collecting money for End Polio Now.
Over 20 members of RC Waikerie came to Sarah’s
exhibition to show her Rotary’s support.
Well done Sarah and Waikerie Lutheran Primary School
for a wonderful exhibition All her new friends at Rotary
can’t wait for her to join the club as a future volunteer
and Rotarian!
