INFORMATION FOR ALL SERVICE CLUB MEMBERS

         Nominations are now open

On behalf of the SCASA committee I am delighted to advise that we have received notification that
the Department of Premier and Cabinet have approved a grant which will allow the committee the
opportunity to provide monetary prizes for the 2022 Premier’s Community Service Awards.

We ask that you please consider nominating projects or activities you have undertaken in South Australia
within the following areas Community Activity, Event, Environment, Health, Social Inclusion or Team (2 or
more Service clubs ) Youth. It only requires a 500 word description of the project and there are prompts on
our website for the information to be included.

We ask that you give some thought to nominating an outstanding Volunteer for the Heide Taylor Award
or a young person for the Allan Sloane Award with criteria on our website and remember that they do not
have to be a member of a Service Club.

We also look forward to hearing about a school that is community minded and is a worthy recipient of the
         Harry Tillyer Award.

Nominations will close on the 15th December 2022 so that our 3 independent judges will have time to
read and consider all the nominations before making their decisions on the winners and runner ups.

All award winners will be announced at our Awards luncheon on Sunday 26th February at the Glenelg Golf
Club. A link to book for the luncheon will be put on our website https://scasa.org.au once nominations
