Donations in Kind

Another Successful Joint

District Working Bee

Sixty-four Rotarians and volunteers from across
Districts 9500 and 9520 had a very constructive day
at the Donations in Kind (DIK) warehouse at
Edinburgh Parks on 19 October.

All effectively undertook tasks to help the regular
DIK volunteers. Brief presentations on the programs
of RAWCS outlined the variety of services available.

After all the hard work, everyone was rewarded with a A highlight of the day was the opening by DGs Jane and Tim of
delicious BBQ luncheon cooked by the two District one of three containers of bed linen which had been donated to
DIK Central Region from Western Australia. This extensive
donation will benefit thousands in need, locally and overseas. A
full feature on this will appear in the next issue of Connections.
