Many Rotary Clubs are already planning for the Epic Day of Service on 16 May 2026. For individuals who are unable to participate on the actual day, there are still meaningful ways to contribute and Do More Good.
Blood and Plasma Donation
The Rotary Club of District 9510 online is encouraging Rotarians who can donate blood or plasma to do so through the Red Cross Lifeblood Service, either on the day or in the lead up to 16 May 2026. These individual acts of giving are recognized as valuable contributions to the Epic Day of Service.
How to Participate and Share Your Support
Rotarians, friends of Rotary, and anyone interested in joining this activity are encouraged to take part by donating blood or plasma.
If you’re an existing donor we are sure you know what to do but if you’re new to donating you can register with Australian Red Cross Lifeblood at https://www.lifeblood.com.au or call them on 13 14 95. Participants are invited to take a ‘selfie’ with an easily printed poster (at the end of this page) during or after their donation and email it to Lindsay Cook at lcerotary@gmail.com These photos will be featured on the club’s website at www.rotaryeclub.org.au
About District 9510 Online Rotary Club
The Rotary Club of District 9510 online comprises members from three Australian states as well as international members in Ethiopia, England, Canada, and France. Unlike traditional Rotary clubs that gather in a single location for meetings and meals, this online club is dedicated to fostering engagement and participation just like any other club. By not incurring transportation and meal expenses, the club is able to focus its resources on supporting Rotary projects using technology and advocacy.
